Amaç her cümleye bir “zor yapı” sıkıştırmak değil, her yapıyı işlevine göre seçmektir: vurgu için inversion, arka plan bilgisi için participle, denge için concession, karmaşık fikirler için nominal clause.

What constitutes a life well-lived is perhaps the oldest question in philosophy — and, arguably, the one we are least equipped to answer in the age of social media and curated identity.
Never has the pressure to perform a successful life been greater, yet rarely has the gap between performance and genuine satisfaction been wider. Much as we may know, intellectually, that the images we consume on social platforms represent filtered fictions, this knowledge does not neutralise their emotional impact.
Having spent several years caring for dying patients, Australian palliative-care worker Bronnie Ware wrote about a striking pattern in her 2011 book: the regrets she heard were remarkably consistent. Notably, they were not about failures of ambition — jobs not taken, risks not run. They were, strikingly, failures of authenticity and connection: not having lived more truthfully, not having expressed feelings, not having maintained friendships.
Compelling though the case for ambition and achievement may be, her observations — personal rather than scientific — suggest that what we leave unlived may matter as much as what we accomplish. Notwithstanding the risks of excessive introspection, there is a distinction — the fact that this distinction is rarely articulated does not make it less real — between rumination and genuine reflection that leads to change.
Whatever time remains, the question worth asking is not "What did I accomplish?" but "Did I live in accordance with what I actually value?" Whether we have the courage to answer honestly, and to act on the answer — that is what determines the character of a life.
