Present Continuous — Şimdiki Zaman

Şu anda, tam konuşurken olan eylemler için kullanılır. Türkçe'deki "-yor" eki gibidir: "yağıyor, yapıyorum, gidiyoruz." Yapısı: am/is/are + fiil-ing

DON'T CONFUSE — Simple Present vs Present Continuous

Simple Present → alışkanlık, her gün: I eat breakfast every morning.
Present Continuous → şu an: I am eating breakfast right now.

Four Seasons in Turkey

Turkey has four beautiful seasons. Each season has different weather and activities.

In spring, it is warm and sometimes rainy. Flowers are growing everywhere. Students are playing outside at break time. Farmers are working in the fields. The temperature is about 15-20 degrees.

In summer, it is very hot and sunny. Families are going to the beach. Children are swimming in the sea. The temperature can reach 40 degrees in some cities! People are wearing T-shirts, shorts and sunscreen.

In autumn, it is cool and windy. Leaves are falling from the trees. Students are going back to school. It is raining more often now.

In winter, it is cold. In the east of Turkey, it is snowing heavily. Children are making snowmen and throwing snowballs! In Istanbul, it sometimes snows too.
